Do you know where the term "circuit rider" came from? That was the name given to early Methodist preachers who served a number of churches and visited them by riding from one to the other on a "circuit" that could take anywhere from two to six weeks! It was a hard life, constantly on the move, preaching when they could and staying wherever a place was offered. Fortunately, Pastor Beth can reach us all electronically via the E-Circuit Rider, no horse needed! The E-Circuit Rider has all kinds of news about church activities. If you would like to receive the E-Circuit Rider when it comes out, email Pastor Beth. You can also find them listed here by date of issuance.
